The Czech Sleaze Band’s 2024 Album Track Gets a 2026 Remaster From Sweden’s Panic Room

Third Cut ends on Demons, a guitar-driven sleaze track with two guests on the credits: Crashdïet guitarist Martin Sweet and MØNØDREAM. Nasty Ratz, a glam and sleaze band from Prague, Czech Republic, released the album on 4 October 2024. Two years later to the day, Nasty Ratz brought Demons back as a remastered single.

Nasty Ratz have Demons in our playlist below, the remastered closer from Third Cut, and the band’s artist profile holds the rest of their coverage. PopHits.Co Music Charts, which verifies independent artists and places their releases across its network of music news sites, brought Demons to RockRevival.News. Hit play, then read on for the sleaze revival the song comes out of.

Crashdïet and the Swedish Sleaze Revival Set the Template Nasty Ratz Follow on Demons

Sleaze rock is the rougher end of 1980s glam. When Guns N’ Roses broke through, critics used the term for the rawer bands that rose in their wake, such as L.A. Guns and Faster Pussycat. More blues went into the guitars, and less polish went into the image.

The revival came from Scandinavia. In the 2000s, a Swedish sleaze movement set out to bring the style back, with bands such as Hardcore Superstar, Crashdïet and H.E.A.T. Finland added Reckless Love and Santa Cruz.

Crashdïet are the band Martin Sweet comes from. They formed in Stockholm in 2000 and named themselves after an unreleased Guns N’ Roses song. Martin Sweet joined on guitar when the band was rebuilt at the end of 2002. Their 2005 debut, Rest in Sleaze, then entered the Swedish album chart at No. 12, and the band played the UK’s Download Festival that summer.

Nasty Ratz Built Demons on a Decade of Club Shows, a Greek-Founded Label and Swedish Help

Nasty Ratz formed in September 2012 and were soon being described as the offspring of KISS and Guns N’ Roses. The 2013 debut EP, I Don’t Wanna Care, came out on Leviathan Records with Serpenth of Belphegor on bass.

The band crowdfunded its first album, First Bite, in 2015. That record led to a deal with Sleaszy Rider Records, a label that began in Athens in 1999 and now runs from Romania. In 2017, Beau Hill, the American producer behind records by Ratt, Winger and Warrant, produced the single Price Of Love. Second Chance followed in 2019.

Martin Sweet produced part of Third Cut, and Demons closes it as the tenth of ten tracks. Jordy Riot, Xriss String, Martin Sweet and Jake Widow wrote it. MØNØDREAM, the project of Martin Čupka of John Wolfhooker, is the other guest.

Third Cut has more than one visitor. Swan Hellion of BlackRain appears on the album too, and the band’s own notes single out Wings and Demons as its highlights. The first single went out earlier, in June 2024: Sick & Twisted, which FVMusicBlog put among its hot picks that August.

The band has changed since then. Today, Jake Widow sings lead, Matt Viperi plays lead guitar, Xriss String plays bass and Paul Ale, who joined in 2026, plays drums.

On 4 October 2026, Sleaszy Rider released the remastered Demons as a single. Thomas “Plec” Johansson did the work at The Panic Room, his studio in Sweden, where his credits run from Soilwork to Watain and Mayhem. So a Czech band with a Swedish guest went back to Sweden for the final polish.

Hardcore Superstar and Crazy Lixx Are the Neighbours for Anyone Who Likes Demons

Hardcore Superstar formed in Gothenburg in 1997 and have released eleven studio albums since.

Crazy Lixx have been playing out of Malmö since 2002. Their list of influences includes Aerosmith, KISS and Mötley Crüe, which is close to the Nasty Ratz family tree.

The circuit that carries this music is still busy, and Nasty Ratz work it hard. The band toured Sweden at the end of October 2026 and plays a hometown show at Futurum on 11 December. In 2027 the dates include Bratislava in February and the HRH Sleaze festival in Sheffield on 3 September. That will be their second HRH Sleaze, after a first appearance in August 2023.

From the RockRevival.News curator team: “Demons sits fifth in our Glam Metal, Hair Metal, Sleaze Rock playlist, straight after Twisted Sister’s We’re Not Gonna Take It. Two tracks later comes Skid Row’s 18 and Life, which is exactly the company this band set out to keep.”
